How To Apply For Certification

Step 1 Check its the right scheme for your business activities	Before you apply, please check that the scheme applies to your business activities. You can do this by clicking here.
Step 2 Read the scheme information	If the scheme is applicable to you, information on the application, assessment and certification process is detailed in the Scheme Document. Click the link to view. You will also need to have read and understood the Fee Sheet, and our Terms and Conditions. Click the links to view
Step 3 Complete and submit the application form and payment	Now complete the application form. The form can be completed online (preferred) or downloaded and posted along with payment. Alternatively, phone 0870 6096093 to obtain an application pack. All of the payment and assessment elements of the scheme are conducted by our partner, the Electrical Contractors' Association (ECA), on behalf of EC Certification Ltd.
	What Happens Next?
Step 4 Receive application acknowledgement and details of next steps	When we receive the completed application form, we check for completeness and eligibility to join the scheme. We then send you an e-mail or letter to confirm the next part of the certification process. Accepted applications are given a unique identification number which should always be quoted on any correspondence to identify who you are.
